The holiday season is a time for celebrating with friends and family. Unfortunately, it is also prime time for vehicle break-ins and theft.  Good food, good cheer and—of course—gifts are focal points of the holiday season. The hustle and bustle, however, can blind us to heightened risk.

CMPD has increased their presence in the SouthPark area during the holiday season and Piedmont Town Center Security will continue to monitor the parking decks and stairwells 24/7. The following is a list of precautionary measures suggested by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to help keep you and your belongings safe this time of year:

•             Always lock your vehicle doors.

•             Never leave valuables in your vehicle. If you do, make sure they are hidden.

•             Be aware of your surroundings at all times.

•             Do not leave wrapped gifts or shopping bags in your car.

•             Call 911 or Piedmont Town Center Security at 704-804-0118 immediately if you see any suspicious activity anywhere on the property.

We hope that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. Feel free to contact the Property Management Office at 704-556-7371 with any questions or concerns.
